Graphite sheet is a new type of material,has good resistance to thermal shock, oxidation and corrosion, and have suitable resistivity and homogenous structure.
It offers excellent sealing capabilities under extreme conditions with a longer life and less maintenance.
Mainly used for electrode,electrolysis,sintering moulds, heater parts, mold, insulation board and various kinds of graphite products.
Advantages of graphite sheet :
1. Processing speed is faster. In general, graphite can be processed 2-5 times faster than copper, and discharge speed is 3-5 times faster than copper.
2, the material is not easy to deform, and the advantages in the processing of thin rib materials are obvious. The softening point of copper is about 1000 degrees, which is easily deformed by heat. The sublimation temperature of graphite is 3650 degrees, and the thermal expansion coefficient is only 1/30 of that of copper.
3. Lighter weight. The density of graphite is only 1/5 of that of copper. When large electrodes are subjected to electrical discharge machining, the burden on the machine tool (EDM) can be effectively reduced, and it is more suitable for application on large molds.
4. The discharge consumption is smaller. Since the spark oil also contains C atoms, at the time of electric discharge machining, the C atoms in the spark oil are decomposed at a high temperature, and a protective film is formed on the surface of the graphite electrode, thereby compensating for the loss of the graphite electrode.
